Our 100-Day AI Challenge: Tools That Helped Us Make $4000

Can AI really help you make money online?We turned a 100-day AI experiment into $4000 using free and low-cost tools here’s exactly how we did it, step by step, by only dedicating 2-3 hrs a day.

There is No need of  prior experience, no fancy gear, no paid ads just pure creativity, consistency, and a willingness to experiment  and a laptop with internet. What followed previous blogs were whirlwind of content creation, digital products, and micro-freelancing. 

Here’s the full breakdown, including the tools we used, the strategies that worked, and how you can replicate (or even scale at great space) with results.

Well the main reason behind Why We Took this Challenge.

Was that Ai hustle that people are bustling so much about on internet and creating buzz around it for literal 2 years are they really worth the hype?!

We did see the headlines in making like “Make $500/day with ChatGPT,” “AI Side Hustles That Actually Work.” etc on every other social platforms now a days But we wanted to test that hype. Could everyday creators, freelancers, or entrepreneurs use AI to gain real income?

We spended near early half of 2025 to experiment and see and note the ways how exactly this is working 

So Our goal was  $4000 in 4 months. not a fortune, but this much money is enough to validate the concept and build momentum. 

Our focused on three core areas:

1. Content creation as they are building block of online income.
2. Digital product design the most viral 2024 online side hustle now with AI Powered tools.
3. Micro freelancing including writing articles, voice over videos and offering graphics to freelancing sites.

We relied on  AI tools stack most of them free or freemium. and easy to work with ,  Here’s what we used:

Month 1: Blogging & Affiliate Content with ChatGPT AI freemium model (free version to be precise)

First and foremost important we started by writing blog posts and for Medium articles using ChatGPT , In all -in - one niche not generally one particular but consisting everything at one place .

We picked the most  trending topics from Google Trends and Reddit, then used AI to draft, edit, and SEO-optimize them afterwards we modify it and cross check the information before posting.

Earnings estimate: We made $35 per week from Medium Partner Program and $103 affiliate links in second month of doing this there was only 20$ in our first month but then we started doing marketing of it by  running occasional paid ads and doing free social media marketing post constantly and always posted atleast 1 blog articles per day . 

Now that we have more followers we earned about  $600 - $700 per month with just few blogs and little marketing of post.

Month 2: AI Merch Design for Etsy store .

Through Using Canva and DALL·E(gpt's image Ai tool)  we have created quirky t-shirts and mug designs and basically everything print on demand has to offer but we get sales on t-shirts and mug in general as compare to others.

[Note:Even though we use ai but we modify each creation further with own design too and not dependent entirely on AI]

Then we listed our products on Etsy via Printful as they offer no upfront cost and they also help to design easily then we promoted them using  Pinterest , Tiktok and Instagram.

Even though we got tons of Tiktok views and Instagram views but our in-general customer sales ratio was from Pinterest more and then Tiktok.

Earnings estimate: We made $58 from 4 product sales in our very 1st month i know unbelievable but it has only become possible because we only created the in-demand design on trendy topics and posted well-formatted  content to market them and builded good customer reviews.

By the end of month we finally being able to see some of  50 products sales and reached 700+ dollar which was impressive but it has become possible because we did lot of social media marketing on every possible platforms.

Month 3: Freelancing with Gamma & Canva

As our team have speciality in design and creations more we choose to offer pitch deck creation and social media post design on Fiverr and Upwork freelancing sites .

For the doing so we took gamma's help to build those decks in minutes and then modify it further on our own , also Canva made doing  visuals even more easy.

Earnings estimate: Being complete honest we did not get any client as we were playing newbie account with zero reviews but we constantly post on LinkedIn in general to gain more clients acknowledgement 

And after 2 weeks of efforts we finally made  $100 from 4 Fiverr gigs including 3 Upwork client , not so impressive still feasible because having no reviews and getting clients on your very first month is like a miracle, but it's not hard you can too post about your work on LinkedIn and link your freelancing site also use those connect wisely.

And by the end of second month we made our first 2000$/month working for just 2 hours a day in freelancing.

Month 4: Micro Tasks & Passive Funnels courses digital planners .

Using Notion AI we created planners about mini-course regarding various online learning needs and created a lead magnet with ChatGPT and occasionally sold them to people who are directly demanding. 

We also joined a few AI task platforms like Remotasks and gradually clicked through some micro jobs and  done successfully.

Earnings estimate: The impressive one as we had audience to demand for creation and to purchase our things we earned about $35 per sales from micro tasks on very 1st day after announcing them and did about 20 sales of those course planner.

One of the best and rewarding stuff from these entire challenge .

 

 SEO Strategies That Helped Us Rank

If you’re thinking to start same by blogging or selling online, here’s what worked for us and might work for you too 

1. Keyword stacking in title itself: We used long-tail keywords like “AI tools taking over normal suite and how you can learn and save your job” and “how is AI helping for interviews .”( Hehe:) we know that it's not a good thing but it was trendy and not illegal so yeah )
2. Internal linking: We linked between blog posts, product pages, and social profiles of each of our viral blog post to let reader stay stuck more and want to learn more stories.
3. Visual SEO (image Seo): Every image had alt text or link to the other blogs or affiliates product but tagged with image to let viewers know they are marketing links , also they were optimized for Pinterest and Google Images.
4. Content posting: Eventually We posted 5 to 7 pieces of content 1st week to build authority. Then loaded with tons of content on trendy toppics to let readers have more content to stick to our site.

So , Can You Do It Too?

Absolutely yes. You don't need to be a tech wizard cause we also aren't I mean some of us are basically coders but that's it .Most of us are just creative people wanting to learn and do things so yeah If you can write, design, or just follow instructions, AI tools can amplify your output. 

So Start small, stay consistent, and focus on value. Our $4000 in 4 month was just the beginning next we’re aiming for $5000 per month.
